Better late than sorry!
I just completed the domain book “The Domain Game” by David Kesmodel. As one of the only books dedicated to the domain industry this book should be a must read for any so called “domainer”.
Personally I have been waiting way too long to get around this book, but when I first started I completed it withing 48 hours (209 pages). I found it very entertaining, admittedly you have to be a domain name nerd to agree, but the book is well written and David has really done his research!
Let me tell you straight away, you probably won’t find any money making tips in this book, the ones covered do not work any more. Mostly this book will give you an overview of the industry, covering its history and basic knowledge. This knowledge, however, is very useful and I think will help you become a better informed domainer less likely to buy crappy names. The book should not be your first investment as a domainer, but most seasoned players in this game will definitely find it very amusing.
Also if you need some kind of confirmation to the value of this business or just some boost of good feeling this book is well suited since it will cover many of those players who really made it big buying domain names.
